Description
A decadent dessert featuring layers of dark, milk, and white chocolate mousses, perfect for impressing guests.

- 1 cup dark chocolate, finely chopped
- 1 cup milk chocolate, finely chopped
- 1 cup white chocolate, finely chopped
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 6 large egg whites
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over simmering water. Stir occasionally until smooth. Once melted, allow to cool slightly.
- In a separate bowl, whip 1 cup of heavy cream to soft peaks. Gently fold this whipped cream into the cooled dark chocolate mixture until well combined.
- In another heatproof bowl, melt the milk chocolate using the same method. Stir until smooth, then allow to cool.
- Whip another cup of heavy cream to soft peaks and carefully fold it into the melted milk chocolate until fully combined.
- For the white chocolate mousse, melt the white chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over simmering water. Stir until smooth, then let cool.
- In a bowl, whip the last cup of heavy cream to soft peaks, and fold it into the melted white chocolate until mixed.
- In a clean bowl, beat the egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add the sugar while continuing to beat, until you achieve stiff peaks.
- Carefully fold the beaten egg whites into each of the chocolate mixtures one at a time—dark chocolate, then milk chocolate, and finally white chocolate. Be gentle to maintain the airy texture.
- Begin layering the mousses into cups by starting with the dark chocolate layer at the bottom, followed by milk chocolate, and finally topped with white chocolate.
- Once all layers are in the cups, chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the mousses to set.
Notes
Store leftover mousse cups in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Best enjoyed fresh for optimal texture.
