Ingredients

- 4 cups of diced potatoes
- 1 cup of sour cream
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- 1/4 cup of butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup of breadcrumbs (optional for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced potatoes, sour cream, heavy cream, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Transfer the potato mixture to a greased casserole dish and spread it evenly.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top and add breadcrumbs if desired.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in a 350°F oven.
