Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and chopped onions until the beef is no longer pink; drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking until the mushrooms are tender.
  4. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cook the egg noodles according to package directions and then drain.
  6. Combine the beef mixture with the cooked noodles and spread it evenly in a greased baking dish.
  7. If desired, sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
