Ingredients
Scale
- 1 whole snapper, cleaned
- 2 tablespoons miso paste
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- Juice and zest of 1 orange
- Juice and zest of 1 lime
- Fresh herbs (like cilantro or parsley) for garnish
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix the miso paste, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, orange juice, lime juice, and citrus zests until smooth.
- Rub the mixture all over the cleaned snapper, ensuring it’s well-coated inside and out.
- Season the fish with salt and pepper.
- Place the snapper on a lined baking tray and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
Ensure your snapper is as fresh as possible; the quality makes a difference. You can substitute with tahini or soy sauce and peanut butter if miso paste is unavailable.
