Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, ketchup, chopped onion, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and shape into a loaf.
- Bake for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Serve with creamy mashed potatoes and steamed green beans. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for 3 months.
