A delightful bowl of rice topped with marinated steak, fresh vegetables, and a spicy cream sauce, bringing the flavors of Korea to your home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin)
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 cucumber, thinly sliced

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (for spicy cream sauce)

Instructions

  1. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. While waiting, season your steak generously with soy sauce, gochujang, and sesame oil.
  2. Cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes per side for a perfectly medium steak.
  3. Let the steak rest for a few minutes, then slice against the grain.
  4. Prepare the spicy cream sauce by mixing mayonnaise and sriracha in a small bowl.
  5. Assemble the rice bowls with rice at the base, topped with sliced steak, fresh vegetables, and spicy cream sauce.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy the blend of flavors and textures!

Notes

Feel free to customize your rice bowl with extra vegetables or different proteins like chicken or tofu for variation.
