Description

A delightful and simple dish featuring tender shrimp and spaghetti in a zesty lemon butter sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juice and zest
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat until golden.
  3. Sauté the minced garlic for about a minute until fragrant.
  4. Cook the shrimp, seasoned with salt and pepper, for 3 to 4 minutes until pink and opaque.
  5. Stir in the fresh lemon juice and zest, mixing well.
  6. Toss the cooked spaghetti with the shrimp and lemon butter sauce until evenly coated.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes

Taste and adjust seasonings to your preference. Don’t overcook the shrimp, as they can become tough.
