Indulgent marbled fudge brownies with a creamy cream cheese swirl.

- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat, then stir in the granulated sugar. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add this to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter. Swirl with a knife for marbling.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter on top of the marbled cream cheese mixture and swirl again if desired.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
