Description

A creamy and flavorful salmon dish with sun-dried tomatoes and Parmesan that warms the heart and is perfect for special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the skillet: Preheat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  2. Season the salmon: Generously season salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  3. Sear the salmon: Sear the salmon in the skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  4. Set aside the salmon: Remove the salmon and set aside.
  5. Sauté the garlic: Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant.
  6. Create the sauce: Add sun-dried tomatoes, heavy cream, and Parmesan to the skillet, stirring until sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Enhance the flavor: Stir in basil and red pepper flakes.
  8. Return the salmon: Place the salmon back in the skillet and spoon sauce over it.
  9. Serve and enjoy!: Serve warm and enjoy!
