Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cubed
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup marinara sauce (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine the ground beef, chopped spinach, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, egg, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix until well combined.
- Form meatballs by flattening a small amount of the mixture in your palm, placing a cube of mozzarella in the center, and folding the meat around the cheese.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.
- Serve hot with marinara sauce.
Notes
Meatballs can be made ahead and stored in the fridge until ready to bake. They can also be frozen for up to 2 months.
