Description

Delightful meatballs stuffed with gooey mozzarella and fresh spinach, bringing comfort and joy to any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup marinara sauce (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the ground beef, chopped spinach, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, egg, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form meatballs by flattening a small amount of the mixture in your palm, placing a cube of mozzarella in the center, and folding the meat around the cheese.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.
  6. Serve hot with marinara sauce.

Notes

Meatballs can be made ahead and stored in the fridge until ready to bake. They can also be frozen for up to 2 months.
