Instructions
- Combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a mixing bowl.
- Add the milk and vegetable oil to the dry ingredients and mix until a cohesive dough forms.
- Knead the dough gently on a floured surface for about 1 minute.
- Divide the dough into small balls about the size of a golf ball.
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat and grease it with butter.
- Flatten each dough ball into a disc about half an inch thick.
- Place the discs in the skillet, cover, and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove from the skillet and serve warm.
Notes
This bread can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days at room temperature or frozen for longer storage. Reheat in a skillet or microwave.
