Ingredients

  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated cheese for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brown the beef in a large pot over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add diced onion, garlic, and bell pepper and sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and beef broth.
  4. Add the elbow macaroni and Italian seasoning. Boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve hot, topped with grated cheese if desired.
