Description

A simple yet delightful recipe for moist and fluffy orange muffins, bursting with refreshing flavors of orange.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange zest
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the melted butter, milk, eggs, orange zest, and orange juice.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Fill the muffin cups about 2/3 full with the batter.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let cool in the tin for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
