Description

Delightful phyllo-wrapped feta rolls drizzled with spicy chili honey, perfect as an appetizer or a cozy night in.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz feta cheese
  • 1 package phyllo dough
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chili honey
  • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Crumble the feta cheese into a bowl.
  3. Mix in the dried oregano and black pepper.
  4. Lay out a sheet of phyllo dough and brush lightly with olive oil.
  5. Place a spoonful of the feta mixture at one end of the dough, then roll it up, folding in the sides to seal.
  6. Repeat until all the filling is used, placing the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the tops with olive oil and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Drizzle with chili honey before serving and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Ensure phyllo dough is fully thawed and cover unused sheets with a damp towel to prevent drying out.
