Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons jelly or jam of choice
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into squares (about 4 inches).
  3. Add 1 tablespoon of peanut butter and 1 tablespoon of jelly in the center of each square.
  4. Fold the pastry over to create a triangle and seal the edges with a fork.
  5. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  6. Place turnovers on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar if desired.
