Description

A simple yet irresistibly delicious homemade peach jam bursting with the natural sweetness of fresh peaches and a bright hint of lemon.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups of peaches, peeled and chopped
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 packet of pectin
  • 1/2 cup of water

Instructions

  1. Combine the chopped peaches, lemon juice, and water in a large pot.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
  3. Stir in the sugar and pectin until fully dissolved.
  4. Allow the mixture to boil for 1-2 minutes until it thickens.
  5. Pour the hot jam into sterilized jars, leaving 1/4 inch of headspace.
  6. Wipe the rims of the jars clean, seal tightly, and process in a water bath canner for 5-10 minutes.
  7. Cool completely before storing.

Notes

Choose ripe yet firm peaches for the best flavor. Always sterilize jars before canning.
