Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking soda, then gradually add to the wet mixture.
  5. Stir in the pecans and corn syrup until well combined.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a greased baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
