- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a round cake pan generously.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter with brown sugar over low heat. Pour this mixture into the prepared cake pan.
- Arrange the plum slices evenly over the sugar mixture.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Gently pour the batter over the arranged plums in the pan.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool for 10 minutes, then invert onto a plate to serve warm.
