- 9 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked and drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the marinara sauce and Italian seasoning; let simmer for 5-10 minutes.
- Spread a thin layer of meat sauce in a baking dish, lay three noodles over it.
- Spread half of the ricotta cheese and a third of the mozzarella on top of the noodles.
- Repeat the layers with noodles, meat sauce, remaining ricotta, and mozzarella. Top with the final noodles, remaining sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
- Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Use no-boil noodles for quicker preparation. Add sautéed vegetables for more nutrition.
