Description

A classic lasagna recipe layered with rich marinara sauce, creamy ricotta, and gooey mozzarella, perfect for comfort food lovers.


Ingredients

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked and drain any excess fat.
  4. Stir in the marinara sauce and Italian seasoning; let simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  5. Spread a thin layer of meat sauce in a baking dish, lay three noodles over it.
  6. Spread half of the ricotta cheese and a third of the mozzarella on top of the noodles.
  7. Repeat the layers with noodles, meat sauce, remaining ricotta, and mozzarella. Top with the final noodles, remaining sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Use no-boil noodles for quicker preparation. Add sautéed vegetables for more nutrition.
