Description

A delightful and refreshing homemade ice cream made with ripe mangoes, heavy cream, and sweetened condensed milk, perfect for cooling down on hot days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups Ripe Mangoes, diced
  • 1 can (14 oz) Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 cups Heavy Cream, cold
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • ½ teaspoon Cardamom Powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the mangoes by peeling and dicing them into small pieces.
  2. Blend the mangoes, sweetened condensed milk, lemon juice, and cardamom powder until smooth.
  3. Whip the cold heavy cream in a mixing bowl until soft peaks form.
  4. Combine the mango mixture with the whipped cream, folding gently to keep air in.
  5. Freeze the mixture in an airtight container for at least 4 hours or until set.
  6. Scoop and serve the ice cream, allowing it to soften for a few minutes first.

Notes

For best results, use the ripest mangoes and ensure the heavy cream is cold before whipping. You can substitute cardamom with vanilla extract if preferred.
