Description

A comforting and nostalgic rice pudding recipe that combines creamy texture with sweet cinnamon flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the cooked rice, milk, eggs, sugar, raisins, vanilla extract, salt, and half of the cinnamon in a large bowl.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  4. Bake for about 45-50 minutes, or until the pudding is set and slightly golden on top.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon on top before serving.

Notes

Use leftover rice for a creamier consistency. Substitute sugar with honey for a healthier version.
