Description

Delightful salmon balls with a crispy exterior, served alongside a creamy avocado sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (15 oz) salmon, drained and flaked
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the salmon, breadcrumbs, green onions, mayonnaise, beaten egg, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well until combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into small balls, ensuring they hold together well.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat, preparing for the salmon balls to fry.
  4. Fry the salmon balls until golden brown on all sides, about 3-4 minutes. Use tongs to turn them gently for even cooking.
  5. For the avocado sauce, mash the avocado in a bowl and mix in lime juice, minced garlic, and salt until smooth.
  6. Serve the salmon balls warm with the avocado sauce on the side, ready for dipping!

Notes

Make sure your oil is hot enough before frying. Experiment with herbs for extra flavor.
