Description

Creamy and luxurious puddings infused with rich salted caramel for a delightful dessert experience.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine sugar and water, and cook over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and turns a golden color. Remove from heat and whisk in the cream and milk.
  2. Stir in the salt and vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs until well beaten.
  4. Slowly add the warm caramel mixture to the eggs while whisking constantly.
  5. Pour the mixture into pudding cups and place them in a baking dish. Fill the baking dish with water halfway up the sides of the cups.
  6. Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 30-35 minutes until set.
  7. Let them cool, then refrigerate until fully set.
  8. Serve chilled, drizzled with extra caramel if desired.
