Description

A dense, fudgy chocolate cake that is both indulgent and guilt-free, perfect for those on a low carb diet.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup protein powder (chocolate or vanilla)
  • 1/2 cup sweetener (erythritol or stevia)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
  2. Mix together the almond flour, cocoa powder, protein powder, sweetener, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, applesauce, almond milk, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
