- 2 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 4 carrots, chopped
- 4 potatoes, diced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season the beef chuck roast with salt and pepper, then add it to the skillet and sear, turning until browned on all sides.
- Transfer the browned beef to your slow cooker.
- Combine the chopped onion, minced garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, chopped carrots, and diced potatoes in the slow cooker.
- Cover and slow cook on low for 8 hours.
- Shred the beef in the slow cooker using two forks and mix with the gravy until well-combined.
