Description

Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • Butter or oil for cooking
  • Maple syrup for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined and frothy.
  2. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are fully coated.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a generous amount of butter or oil.
  4. Carefully place the soaked bread slices in the hot skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Remove the slices from the skillet and top with chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, and graham cracker crumbs.
  6. Transfer the topped toast under the broiler for a couple of minutes until the marshmallows are toasted to a golden brown.
  7. Serve warm, drizzled with maple syrup.

Notes

For best texture, use day-old bread. You can prepare the egg mixture the night before for convenience.
