- 1 ½ cups (180g) All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup (226g) Unsalted Butter, softened
- 1 cup (200g) Packed Light Brown Sugar
- ½ cup (100g) Granulated Sugar
- 2 Large Eggs, at room temperature
- 2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
- 3 cups (240g) Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats
- 1 ½ cups (225g) Raisins
Instructions
- Prepare your pans and preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the dry ingredients in a medium bowl.
- Cream the butter and sugars in a stand mixer until fluffy.
- Incorporate the eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
- Add the dry mixture to the wet mixture and mix until combined.
- Fold in oats and raisins until evenly distributed.
- Chill the dough for at least 60 minutes.
- Scoop mounds of dough onto baking sheets.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5-10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For the perfect chewy texture, do not skip chilling the dough!
