Description

  • 1 cup (220g) Packed Light Brown Sugar
  • ½ cup (100g) Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup (250g) Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 2 large Eggs, room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 2 ½ cups (300g) All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar on medium-high speed for about 3-4 minutes until fluffy.
  3. Incorporate the peanut butter, then add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, followed by the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Marry the dry ingredients into the wet mixture gradually, mixing until just combined.
  6. Portion the dough into uniform balls, placing them about 2 inches apart on the baking sheets.
  7. Create the classic criss-cross pattern on top of each cookie with a fork.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are set and golden brown.
  9. Cool on the baking sheets for 5-7 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
