Description

A delicious blend of sweet and savory chicken topped with fresh vegetables and crispy wontons, perfect for any weeknight meal.

Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs or breasts
  • Honey
  • Ginger (fresh, grated)
  • Soy sauce
  • Garlic (minced)
  • Rice (cooked)
  • Fresh vegetables (like bell peppers, carrots, broccoli)
  • Wontons (fried)
  • Yum Yum sauce
  • Salt and pepper
  • Oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Create the Glaze: In a bowl, mix honey, grated ginger, soy sauce, and minced garlic to make the glaze.
  2. Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then cook in a pan over medium heat until crispy and cooked through.
  3. Glaze the Chicken: Pour the honey-ginger glaze over the chicken and sauté for a few more minutes until sticky.
  4. Assemble the Bowls: Serve the glazed chicken over a bed of cooked rice.
  5. Add the Finishing Touches: Top with fresh vegetables, crispy fried wontons, and a drizzle of Yum Yum sauce.

Notes

For extra crispy chicken, give it a dry rub of cornstarch before seasoning. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
