Description

Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, these Spicy Mexican-Style Street Potatoes are seasoned with chili powder, cumin, and a hint of garlic for a flavor explosion.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (optional)
  • Chopped green onions or cilantro (for garnish)
  • Salsa (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and dry the potatoes thoroughly. Slice them into wedges or cubes.
  3. Combine the olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt in a bowl.
  4. Toss the potato pieces in the seasoning mix until coated.
  5. Spread the coated potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Top with shredded cheese, sour cream, green onions, and salsa if desired.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
