- 1 pound ground chicken or turkey
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cubed
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for frying
- Marinara sauce (for serving)
Instructions
- Mix the ingredients in a large bowl: combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, grated Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, preparing for sautéing.
- Shape the meatballs by taking a small amount of the mixture, flattening it in your palm, placing a mozzarella cube in the center, and forming it into a ball.
- Fry the meatballs in the skillet for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve with marinara sauce for dipping or drizzling.
