Description

A delightful twist on classic meatballs, these Spinach Garlic Meatballs are stuffed with gooey mozzarella, blending comfort with creativity.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground chicken or turkey
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying
  • Marinara sauce (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Mix the ingredients in a large bowl: combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, grated Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, preparing for sautéing.
  3. Shape the meatballs by taking a small amount of the mixture, flattening it in your palm, placing a mozzarella cube in the center, and forming it into a ball.
  4. Fry the meatballs in the skillet for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping or drizzling.

Notes

These meatballs can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
