- 1/2 cup steak sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Burger buns
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and bell pepper to the skillet, and sauté until they become soft and fragrant—about 3-4 minutes.
- Next, add in the ground beef and cook until it’s beautifully browned and fully cooked.
- Pour the steak sauce over the cooked beef mixture, and season with salt and pepper. Stir well to combine.
- Stir in the shredded cheese until it’s all melted and gooey.
- Spoon the mixture onto the burger buns and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra depth, add a splash of Worcestershire sauce. Experiment with different cheeses for unique flavors.
