Description

A delightful twist on classic tiramisu, featuring layers of creamy mascarpone and fresh strawberries for a light summer dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 cup sugar (for macerating strawberries)
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1 package ladyfingers
  • Cocoa powder (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

  1. Macerate the Strawberries: In a bowl, mix sliced strawberries with sugar and let macerate for about 30 minutes.
  2. Whip the Cream: In another bowl, whip the heavy cream with vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  3. Fold in Mascarpone: Gently fold the mascarpone cheese into the whipped cream until smooth.
  4. Prepare the Ladyfingers: Dip the ladyfingers quickly into the cooled coffee and layer them at the bottom of a serving dish.
  5. Add the First Layer of Cream: Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  6. Layer the Strawberries: Spoon half of the macerated strawberries on top.
  7. Repeat the Layers: Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
  8. Finish with Final Touches: Top with whipped cream and dust with cocoa powder if desired.
  9. Chill Before Serving: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving for best flavor.

Notes
