A refreshing homemade sweet cordial perfect for summer gatherings, bursting with fruity flavors.
Ingredients

- 2 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup fresh fruit juice (rose, lemon, or khus)
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Ice cubes
- Fresh fruit slices or mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the water and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Once the sugar has dissolved, remove the saucepan from heat and let the syrup cool down completely.
- Add the fresh fruit juice of your choice and the lemon juice to the cooled syrup and mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to the refrigerator and chill for at least 30 minutes.
- Pour the sharbat over ice cubes in a glass and garnish with fresh fruit slices or mint leaves if desired.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
