Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup Valentine’s M&M candies
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the M&M candies and chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting and serving.
Notes
For a nutty flavor, add 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts or pecans. You can also use other candies instead of M&Ms.
