A modern twist on classic bruschetta featuring spicy nduja and fresh garden tomatoes.
Ingredients
- Baguette or ciabatta bread
- Ripe tomatoes
- Nduja (spicy spreadable salami)
- Fresh basil leaves
- Olive oil
- Garlic
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice the baguette or ciabatta into thick slices and arrange on a baking sheet.
- Drizzle with olive oil and toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Chop the ripe tomatoes and mix with chopped fresh basil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Spread a generous layer of nduja on each toasted bread slice.
- Top with the fresh tomato mixture.
- Drizzle with additional olive oil if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
Best enjoyed fresh and warm. Store leftover tomato mixture in the fridge for up to 2 days. Re-toast bread slices before serving.
