A warm and comforting Tuna Noodle Casserole, combining tender egg noodles, flaky tuna, and sweet peas in a creamy mushroom sauce, topped with crispy breadcrumbs and cheddar cheese.

- 2 cups egg noodles
- 1 can (12 oz) tuna, drained
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain well once cooked.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked noodles, tuna, cream of mushroom soup, peas, milk, and half of the cheese.
- Season with salt and pepper, and stir until well mixed.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Top with the remaining cheese and sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top, drizzling with olive oil.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, try sautéing onions or garlic before mixing. You can substitute tuna for shredded chicken for a different taste.
