Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cocoa powder, whole wheat flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt.
- Add melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Gently fold in chocolate chips and crushed peppermint candies.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
