Description

A delightful blend of shredded chicken, crunchy grapes, and pecans, dressed in a creamy, tangy sauce – perfect for picnics and meal prep.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed (cold)
  • 0.75 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 cup red grapes, halved and patted dry
  • 0.5 cup celery, finely diced and dried
  • 0.25 cup green onions, sliced
  • 0.5 cup toasted pecans or slivered almonds (added before serving)

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients and place the cold chicken in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and dill until smooth.
  3. Combine the grapes, celery, and green onions with the chicken.
  4. Dress the mixture by pouring the dressing over it and folding gently until coated.
  5. Chill the salad for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  6. Add the toasted nuts just before serving to keep them crunchy.
