- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated carrots

- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for cooking
Instructions
- Mash the black beans in a bowl until they have a chunky consistency.
- Combine breadcrumbs, grated carrots, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper to the mashed beans.
- Form the mixture into patties that are compact enough to hold together while cooking.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties in the skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Serve your patties on buns with your favorite toppings.
