Description

These veggie burgers are bursting with flavors and are a fantastic way to enjoy plant-based protein.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can of black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated carrots
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Mash the black beans in a bowl until they have a chunky consistency.
  2. Combine breadcrumbs, grated carrots, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper to the mashed beans.
  3. Form the mixture into patties that are compact enough to hold together while cooking.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Cook the patties in the skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Serve your patties on buns with your favorite toppings.

Notes
