- 4 chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on)
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Olive oil spray
Instructions
- Start by placing the chicken thighs in a bowl and covering them with buttermilk. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for better flavor.
- Mix together the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl.
- Remove each piece of chicken from the buttermilk and dredge it in the seasoned flour until well coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
- Lightly spray the coated chicken with olive oil.
- Place the chicken thighs in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for about 25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Check that the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and is golden brown.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
