- 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
- 6 strips of bacon
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: sliced green onions, diced tomatoes, hot sauce, or sour cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Bake the Tater Tots: Spread the frozen tater tots evenly on a baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and crispy, turning halfway through.
- Cook the Bacon: While the tots are baking, cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and let it drain on paper towels. Once cooled, chop into small pieces.
- Scramble the Eggs: In a bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour the mixture into the skillet and scramble until cooked through.
- Assemble the Totchos: Once the tater tots are done, remove them from the oven. Layer the scrambled eggs over the tots, followed by the chopped bacon, and generously sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Melt the Cheese: Return the baking sheet to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish: Remove from the oven and add any optional toppings you desire, such as green onions or diced tomatoes.
- Serve: Spoon onto plates and enjoy while hot!
