Description

Delightful and easy-to-make blondies with ripe bananas and chocolate chips for a sweet treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 overripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. Mash the overripe bananas until they’re nice and smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter and brown sugar to the mashed bananas.
  4. Incorporate the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  5. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
  6. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  9. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  10. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.

Notes

For added flavor, feel free to add nuts or switch chocolate chips for different flavors. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
