- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine the mashed bananas and melted butter in a bowl.
- Stir in the brown sugar and granulated sugar until well incorporated.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, blending until smooth.
- Whisk together the baking soda, salt, and flour in another bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
- Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden at the edges and slightly underbaked in the center.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For added texture, consider folding in chopped nuts with the chocolate chips. For deeper flavor, brown the butter before mixing.
