Description
BBQ Brisket Melts are a celebration of flavors and textures, combining tender, shredded brisket with gooey cheese, grilled between crispy bread.

- 8 slices of bread
- 1 pound cooked brisket, shredded
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Optional: pickles, onion, or jalapeños for topping
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Mix the shredded brisket with BBQ sauce in a bowl.
- Butter one side of each bread slice.
- Place 4 slices of bread butter-side-down on the skillet.
- Layer some brisket mixture and cheese on each slice.
- Top with another slice of bread, butter-side-up.
- Grill for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
- Serve warm with optional toppings if desired.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in a skillet or oven until the cheese melts.
