Description

A fun twist on pizza and quesadillas featuring savory beef, pepperoni, and gooey melted mozzarella cheese in crispy tortillas.


Ingredients

  • 4 large tortillas
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat some olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  3. Place a tortilla in the skillet and spread pizza sauce over half.
  4. Add the cooked beef, pepperoni, and mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
  5. Fold the tortilla over to cover the filling and cook until the cheese is melted and the tortilla is golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  6. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and ingredients.
  7. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

Serve with extra pizza sauce on the side for dipping. Consider adding chopped herbs or sour cream for extra flavor.
