Description

Delightful spicy shrimp tacos topped with a refreshing cilantro lime slaw, perfect for a quick dinner or casual gathering.


Ingredients

  • 2 lb jumbo shrimp
  • 16 corn tortillas
  • 2 cups green cabbage, shredded
  • 2 cups purple cabbage, shredded
  • 2 avocados
  • Lime juice to taste
  • Avocado oil for cooking
  • Spices: garlic powder, smoked paprika, cumin, ancho chili powder
  • Honey, salt, and pepper for slaw

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cilantro lime slaw by mixing shredded green and purple cabbages, lime juice, honey, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Make the avocado crema by blending avocados, garlic, cilantro, spices, and lime juice in a food processor until smooth.
  3. Season the shrimp with the spices and sear them in a non-stick skillet with avocado oil until cooked through.
  4. Heat the corn tortillas on another skillet until warm and pliable.
  5. Assemble the tacos by spreading avocado crema on tortillas and topping with slaw and shrimp.

Notes
