- 4 ripe peaches, sliced
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a skillet.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar together over medium heat until fully combined. Pour this mixture into the skillet and arrange the peach slices on top.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat together the granulated sugar and eggs until light and fluffy.
- Add vanilla and milk, then gradually mix in the dry ingredients.
- Pour the batter over the peaches in the skillet.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool for a few minutes before inverting onto a serving plate.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
