- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup baking soda
- 1 large egg (beaten)
- Coarse sea salt (for sprinkling)
- Butter (for brushing)
Instructions
- Combine warm water, yeast, and sugar in a bowl. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.

- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Divide the dough into small pieces and roll them into bite-sized balls.
- Prepare a boiling water bath by dissolving baking soda in water. Boil each pretzel bite for 30 seconds, then remove and place them on a baking sheet.

- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Brush with melted butter before serving. Enjoy!
