- 8 oz Penne Pasta
- 1 lb Sirloin Steak
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp Cajun Seasoning
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Boil 8 ounces of penne pasta in salted water according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside, letting the pasta retain some warmth.
- Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil to a large skillet over medium-high heat. Wait until the oil shimmers.
- Rub 1 pound of sirloin steak generously with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of black pepper. Add to the skillet and sear for 3-5 minutes on each side.
- Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for about 5 minutes.
- Reduce the heat to medium and add 4 minced garlic cloves to the same skillet. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in 2 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning and 4 tablespoons of butter, mixing until the butter is melted.
- Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream, stirring to blend it into the sauce. Allow to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Chop the rested steak into bite-sized pieces. Add it along with the cooked pasta to the creamy sauce and toss gently.
- Stir in 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese and 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley.
Notes
For a spicier kick, increase the amount of Cajun seasoning. Use high-quality ingredients for the best flavor.
